65/65 Service
Household trash equivalent to a 65 gal trash cart or less (approximately five (5) 13 gal kitchen bags) each week. All trash is to be bagged and fit inside the cart with the lid closed. We will provide you with a 65 gal trash cart to use while you have our service (it will have a black lid). The trash cart is required for our service.
Proper Bin Placement- We ask that you place your bins on your driveway and not the grass. The bins need to be at least 4’ apart from one another, at least 4’ – 6’ from any mailboxes, and at least 12’ from any parked vehicles that may be in front of your residence. If you choose to place your bins on your grass and there is damage, we are not liable for any damage done by our truck. Our trucks are equipped with an automated arm, so it is very important that our drivers have enough clearance so that they can service your bins. If there is anything blocking your bins, they will not be able to service them.
Recycle: We will provide you with a 65 gal recycle cart to use while you have our service (it will have a green lid). The recycle cart is required for our services. Recycle that doesn’t fit inside please put it in a small container or box and cardboard can be cut to 2′ x 2′ sections and tied with string or twine and set on the ground next to the cart for pick up.
Yard waste bags can not weigh over 35 pounds. Trash and yard waste bags over the limit will each require an overage sticker that can be purchased at Shawnee City Hall and at KC Disposal’s office.
6 bags per week from January through September,
10 bags per week from October-December.
Yardwaste is picked up year-round.
January 1st – April 1st all yard waste must be scheduled.

We will provide you with a 95 gal trash cart to use while you have our service (it will have a black lid). The trash cart is required for our services.
