Curbside Yard Waste Pick Up
Kansas City Disposal offers curbside pick-up of paper bags or containers as an annual subscription and one-time pick-ups.

PAPER BAG OPTION GUIDELINES - $200 a year
- Storm damage or mass pruning is not included in the yearly contract. Any brush or limbs left for pick up after a storm will be regarded as storm damage and will not be removed weekly until gone. Arrangements can be made for a scheduled pick-up at an additional cost. Call for free estimates.
- Bag and brush limit is firm regardless of prior week’s usage.
– 10 bags or bundles per scheduled pick-up, January thru September.
– 15 bags or bundles per scheduled pick-up, October and November.
– Bag weight is limited to 50 pounds and must be free of garbage, cans, glass etc. - $2.00 charge per bag or bundle over weekly limit. Notify office prior to service day.
- All bags must be at the curb by 7 a.m. on the day of service.
- Missed pick-ups must be called into the office no later than 10 a.m. the following day. Please leave a message on our voice mail if calling after business hours.
- Brush and limbs need to be cut and bundled into 4-foot sections. Branches must not be larger than 4 inches in diameter at the widest section.
- FREE month for each paid referral.
- Holidays observed: We are closed on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas. If one of these holidays is on a weekday and your collection day is on or after the holiday, collection will be one day later that week only. If the holiday falls on a weekend, collection will occur on the normal schedule.
CONTAINER OPTION GUIDELINES - $268 a year

One-time Pick-up - From $70
Up to twenty paper bags or bundles. The cost is $70.00. Any units over the limit will be $2.00 per unit.

Yes, Christmas trees are counted as one item. We also accept pumpkins and bales of hay (no wire).

Yes, the service can be transferred only if you have moved into an area we service. Just call the office and let us know when your last day of pick up will be.
Yes, your service can be upgraded to container option. To do so, just call the office and make those arrangements.
No, KC Disposal will only collect organic matter such as leaves, grass, garden clippings and limbs. All that is collected is taken to our processing center for composting. No animal waste of any kind is permitted to be collected.
Yes, we do collect sod and dirt if it’s bagged and weighing 50lbs or under within weekly bag limit (5 total of dirt at one time) for pick-up.
If roads are icy or snow covered, all pick-ups will most likely be postponed until road conditions improve. Please watch for email or you may call for the status of your pick-up.
KC Disposal has never removed storm damage or mass pruning as part of our yearly program. We will, however, give estimates. Please remember, we are not a tree service, and our programs should not be considered insurance against storm damage. Please, don’t expect to leave a small amount out each week until it’s gone.
Once payment has been made we do not offer any refunds.
